How to Enable or Disable User Account Control "UAC" for Windows

This tutorial will show you how to Enable or Disable the User Account Control also known as "UAC" for Windows 7,8 and Vista by using the command feature in Windows. 
I will be using Windows 8.1.

Step 1:
First of all you need to copy the correct code below by highlighting it then pessing Ctrl+C:

  • For Enabling the UAC copy this code:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /k %windir%\System32\reg.exe ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
  •  For Disabling the UAC copy this code:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /k %windir%\System32\reg.exe ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Step 2:
Press your Windows button on your keyboard or go to your home button in the bottom left corner.

Step 3:
Upon clicking the Windows button, type "cmd" in the search button > open the cmd feature as shown in the image below.

Step 4:
You will be brought to the black screen command feature, now right click on your mouse and paste the enabling of disabling code.

Step 5:
After pasting your code it should look something like the image below.

Step 6:
Press Enter, this will then enable or disable the annoying pop up permission message.

NB: The following trick works on all Windows Operating Systems!!!
 Im going to share a fast and easy way to you all about a trick that I have known a long time ago,
and have implemented on a lot of computers so far.

Speed up your Pc by cleaning your Temp Files,
Do This Daily or Weekly!!! As soon as your pc slows down.


Step 1:
Go to your Windows Icon in the top left corner of your pc or press the icon on your keyboard.

Step 2:
In your search bar type the following without the brackets ( %temp% ) or just copy from the blockquote below and paste it into your search bar by pressing Ctrl+V.

%temp%


Step 3:
After pasting ( %temp% ) it should look like the image shown below.

Step 4:
If your screen looks like the image above, press enter.

Step 5:
You will be taken directly to your temp folder which will look similar to the image below.

Step 6:
Now do the following:
  • Highlight it all
  • Right click and delete everything.
Do not worry about deleting these files, nothing will happen to any of your documents, data, music, pictures, settings or anything else.

Step 7:
If you get a message that looks like the one below or similar, just check the (do this for all current items) button and try again or skip. You can try this again after restartin your computer, but its not really necessary.

Step 8:
After doing that, go to your Recycle Bin and empty it.

Step 9:
Restart your pc and your done!!!

Open the Excel Software Program

Navigate to File > Options

Step 3:
Got to the Trust Center Tab > Trust Center Settings

Step 4:
Select the protected and uncheck all the options under protected view

Step 5:
Press Ok

Step 6:
Restart Excel then try and open Excel Documents again

How To Increase the Virtual Memory "RAM" on a computer

Step 1

Right Click on My Computer

Step 2

Select Properties

Step 3

Go to Advanced tab

Step 4

Click on setting button under ‘Performance’.

Step 5

Go to Advanced tab in next window

Step 6

Press change button under virtual memory.

Step 7

In next screen under custom size enter size you want to allocate for virtual memory (paging file).

It depends on your hard disk size and physical memory.
Make sure it’s not less than system recommended size.
Normally recommended paging file is 1.5 of physical RAM.

Step 8

Press Set button, you may need to restart computer.
