How to fix Microsoft Excel Error Message | The file is corrupt and cannot be opened

Step 1:
Open the Excel Software Program

Step 2:
Navigate to File > Options

Step 3:
Got to the Trust Center Tab > Trust Center Settings

Step 4:
Select the protected and uncheck all the options under protected view

Step 5:
Press Ok

Step 6:
Restart Excel then try and open Excel Documents again
